Bishkek, Oct. 13, 2021 . / Kabar / . Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for International Cooperation Yerzhan Kazykhanov.
The press service of the Kyrgyz MFA reported that the meeting took place on the sidelines of the 6th ministerial meeting of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues of Kyrgyz-Kazakh interaction, synchronized their watches on upcoming bilateral foreign policy events, as well as exchanged views on international and regional agendas in the framework of multilateral platforms.
Kazakbaev and Kazykhanov noted the need for speedy practical implementation of agreements reached following the state visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to Kazakhstan, the 9th meeting of the bilateral Intergovernmental Council held this year, expressed readiness for further cooperation to expand and deepen bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan in the spirit of alliance and strategic partnership.
