Bishkek, March 13, 2023. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan offered Kuwait to open a joint investment fund, the press service of the National Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic said.
This possibility was discussed at the third meeting of the Kyrgyz-Kuwaiti intergovernmental commission on economic and technical cooperation in Kuwait. Kyrgyzstan will send concrete proposals on this project in the near future.
In addition, a business forum "Kuwait-Kyrgyzstan" is planned to be held in the second half of the year, within the framework of which a number of investment projects in Kyrgyzstan will be presented to Kuwaiti investors. It is also expected to sign a memorandum of cooperation between the National Investment Agency and the Kuwait Sovereign Fund (KIA).
