Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2019. / Kabar /. An agreement on cooperation between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia in the field of healthcare and pharmacy is signed in Bishkek during the meeting between Minister of Health Kosmosbek Cholponbaev and Minister of Road and Transport Development of Mongolia Enkh-Amgalan Byambasuren.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, at the meeting, the parties signed an agreement on cooperation between the governments of the two countries in the field of healthcare and pharmacy.
According to the signed agreement, in order to increase the level of public health, develop and strengthen friendly relations between peoples, the sides agreed to cooperate in strengthening health systems, combating infectious diseases and vaccinations, protecting maternal and child health, oncology, transplantology, orthopedics, traumatology, and in increasing the human resources potential in the field of healthcare.
“I take this opportunity to wish the productive work to the third meeting of the intergovernmental economic commission between the governments of the two countries to be held tomorrow in Bishkek, and I also want to note that the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic is ready for fruitful cooperation with Mongolia on health issues," Cholponbaev noted.
