Bishkek, Sept. 9, 2022. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan intend to increase regular flights between the countries, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Kyrgyz Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ulanbek Totuyaev met with Minister of Railways and Aviation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Khawaja Saad Rafik.
“During the conversation, the sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, trade, economic, investment and technical cooperation. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of developing efficient logistics routes between the countries of the region, which is one of the most important factors for building a successful mutually beneficial dialogue,” the ministry noted.
In addition, the sides agreed to work together to increase the number of flights between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan, as well as to make them regular.
The importance of joining efforts for the successful implementation of railway communication projects between countries, such as, for example, the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, as well as Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan, was also emphasized, the foreign ministry said.
