Bishkek, Oct. 8, 2021 / Kabar /. Diplomatic relations have been established between Kyrgyzstan and Palau. The joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations was signed in New York by permanent representatives of Kyrgyzstan to the UN, Mirgul Moldoisaeva and Republic of Palau to the UN, Ilana Victoria Seid, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The text of the Joint Communiqué notes that the sides established diplomatic relations, guided by the principles and goals of the UN Charter and international law, in particular, respect and strengthening of international peace and security, equality between the states, due respect for the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state, the independence, observance of international treaties and non-interference in the internal affairs of the states.
After the signing ceremony of the Joint Communiqué, the sides expressed their mutual intention to develop relations of friendship and cooperation between states within the framework of the UN and other international organizations, as well as to support each other's candidacies for international bodies through the UN.
