Bishkek, Feb. 28, 2024. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan will cooperate on digital health projects, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Deputy Minister for Digital Development Bakyt Dzhangaziev received the delegation of Turkmenistan. At the meeting, he spoke about the state policy in the field of digital transformation of healthcare and priority areas. Digital products such as iEPID - an information system for monitoring incidents in the field of healthcare, iEMDOO - a full-cycle information system for immunization, a digital sick leave certificate, a digital medical certificate - an information system for the primary registration of births and deaths, and others were discussed.
“We are ready to provide any assistance in the field of expertise and exchange of experience for the development of digital healthcare,” Dzhangaziev said.
Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on cooperation in capacity building and exchange of experience on an ongoing basis.
