Bishkek, Dec. 17, 2024. / Kabar /. At the initiative of the Uruguayan side, a meeting was held today between the Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Seitek Zhumakadyr uulu and the Ambassador of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Beijing Juan Fernando Lugris Rodriguez.
As reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry, during the meeting the parties confirmed their mutual interest in enhancing bilateral cooperation in the consular sphere, and also discussed issues of visa facilitation and the establishment of an honorary consulate of the Republic of Uruguay in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to expand interaction and further develop cooperation in the interests of the citizens of Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Uruguay.
