Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan complete process of delimitation of state border - Sadyr Zhaparov

Bishkek, Jan. 27, 2023 / Kabar/. “Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan have completed the process of delimitation of the state border,” President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov said in a statement to the media, following negotiations with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his state visit.

“Today is a historic day for us. Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan completed the process of delimitation of the state border, exchanged instruments of ratification to the Treaty on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border and, thus, put an end to border issues.

I am convinced that the final solution of the border issue will play a key role in the further development of fraternal relations, strengthening border contacts, and also contributes to strengthening stability and security in the Central Asian region,” he said.
