Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan to cooperate in cotton growing

Tashkent, June 30 / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Daniyar Sydykov and Director General of the Uzbek Cotton Fiber Certification Center "SIFAT" Hakim Umarkhodzhaev discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the field of cotton growing.

They focused on the possible exchange of experience between the State Center for Testing Varieties and Genetic Resources of Plants under the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Reclamation of Kyrgyzstan and the Uzbek Cotton Fiber Certification Center "SIFAT" under the Government of Uzbekistan.

In addition, the Uzbek side expressed readiness to organize and conduct training courses for Kyrgyz specialists on classification of cotton products in accordance with international standards.
