Bishkek, Oct. 13, 2023. /Kabar/. A meeting of representatives of the Trade Representation (CCI) under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan took place in Tashkent. This meeting was a good opportunity to discuss and strengthen trade and economic ties between the two countries, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the prospects for expanding mutual trade and exchange of experience between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The parties emphasized their readiness to actively develop friendly and mutually beneficial relations built on mutual trust and cooperation. Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their determination to take all necessary measures for the further development and strengthening of trade ties.
During the meeting, the parties preliminary discussed the organization and holding of an exhibition of food products of Kyrgyz producers on the territory of Uzbekistan.
The parties expressed common interest and determination in creating a conducive platform for the presentation and promotion of local food and beverage products. This exhibition is designed to provide an opportunity for enterprises and companies to demonstrate their products, establish new business contacts and expand their spheres of influence.
The current discussion emphasized not only the importance of developing the food industry, but also the potential for strengthening cooperation and exchange of experience in this area between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The planned food exhibition will contribute to the development of trade and economic relations and help increase the export of food products from Kyrgyz producers.
