Bishkek, Aug. 19, 2024. / Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan will sign a roadmap for further development of bilateral cultural cooperation for 2024-2026, Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov told at a press conference in Tashkent.
He said that the ministry pays special attention to the development and strengthening of international cooperation with foreign countries, and first of all with its closest neighbors, including Kyrgyzstan.
"Thanks to the far-sighted and friendly policies of our presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Sadyr Zhaparov, today we are seeing a comprehensive development of friendship and deepening of large-scale cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in all spheres of life, including the cultural and humanitarian area. The roadmap being prepared carefully develops all the tasks of cultural cooperation and indicates measures for their implementation. I think that this document will make a great contribution to the further strengthening of good-neighborly, fraternal friendship between the Uzbek and Kyrgyz peoples, and will also strengthen unity in the Central Asian region,” he said.
