Kyrgyzstan appoints new ambassador to Azerbaijan

Bishkek, June 7, 2024. /Kabar/. The ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Azerbaijan has been replaced.

The presidential administration said that President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov signed a Decree according to which Osmonaliev Kairat Mederbekovich was relieved of the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Azerbaijan and Georgia, concurrently with his residence in the city of Baku.

By another Decree, President Sadyr Zhaparov appointed Mamytkanov Maksat Suyunalievich as Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Osmonaliev was appointed ambassador to Baku in summer of 2021.
