Kyrgyzstan bans New Year parties

Bishkek, Nov. 26, 2020 / Kabar/. New Year's corporate parties are prohibited in Kyrgyzstan, Vice Prime Minister of the country Elvira Surabaldieva told during an online briefing.

She said that this decision is associated with the situation in the country with coronavirus infection.

“Also, a large number of people gather for such events, people dress lightly and this is during the seasonal flu. We all know that now social distance and mask regime are not observed at all. Therefore, New Year's corporate parties are prohibited, especially for civil servants,” she said.

The vice prime minister noted that at the meeting with the participation of the acting President strict instructions were given for all heads of departments and local self governments.
