Bishkek, Aug. 20, 2021 . / Kabar / . 2021 Cup of Kyrgyzstan on beach soccer will start Aug. 20 on the shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, the Football Federation of the republic reported.
The Cup is already held for the 4th time.
"Thus, a pre-tournament meeting took place on the eve of the start of the fourth Kyrgyzstan Cup Beach Soccer. The meeting discussed a number of organizational issues and the draw of the tournament. Previously, it was reported that Kazakh club Arman will participate in the draw.
However, the team could not leave for the tournament due to positive PCR tests in three players of the foreign team. It was decided to add a team from Issyk-Kul Oblast in order to preserve the format,” the report says.
A total of 8 teams from Bishkek, Chui Oblast, Jalal-Abad Oblast, Batken Oblast, Naryn Oblast, Tosor village (Dzheti-Oguz region) and Issyk-Kul Oblast.
“The first day of competition will take place today, the teams will play two game rounds," the Federation said.
