Bishkek, Jan. 20, 2022. / Kabar /. Taking into account the restoration of air, rail and road communications with foreign countries, the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan decided to cancel the so-called green corridor for foreign citizens and stateless persons from March 1, 2022, the press service of the country's Foreign Ministry reported.
In this regard, foreign citizens and stateless persons who are in Kyrgyzstan for various purposes are recommended to leave the country before March 1, 2022 or issue the relevant documents (visa, registration) for legal stay on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the period of temporary restrictions related to the spread of COVID-19 in the world, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic issued an order on March 17, 2020, according to which foreign citizens and stateless persons can leave the territory of Kyrgyzstan without an exit visa and registration at the place of temporary residence.
The ministry emphasizes that after March 1, 2022, the departure of foreign citizens and stateless persons from Kyrgyzstan who have violated the rules of stay will be possible only after paying a fine and issuing an exit visa.
