Kyrgyzstan carries effective fight against corruption under control of president

Bishkek, Nov. 25, 2019. / Kabar /. The issue of combating corruption is controlled personally by the country’s President Sooronbay Jeenbekov, Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan Damir Sagynbaev told reporters on Monday at the Kabar News Agency.

He assured that an effective fight against corruption is being carried out in Kyrgyzstan.

“But there are still officials and civil servants who, despite the fact that we have strict legislation regarding the fight against corruption, they commit it. Sooner or later, they will still be responsible,” he said.

Sagynbaev added that the detention of judges, senior officials in Kyrgyzstan is part of the effective fight against corruption under the control of the president and the monitoring of the secretariat.
