Bishkek, Oct. 16, 2024. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev met in Bishkek with representatives of Pherobio Technology Co., Ltd.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the prospects of cooperation in the introduction of innovative technologies in agriculture, aimed at plant protection and improving the efficiency and sustainability of the agro-industrial sector of the country, the press service of the Kyrgyz Cabinet said.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the possibilities of applying biotechnology and environmentally friendly solutions in pest control, as well as the prospects of using pheromone traps developed by Pherobio Technology Co., Ltd. to increase the yield and environmental friendliness of agricultural products.
Representatives of Pherobio Technology Co., Ltd. presented innovative developments that have already been successfully applied in a number of countries and have shown high efficiency.
Torobaev noted the importance of introducing modern technologies in the agricultural sector and emphasized that cooperation with companies such as Pherobio Technology Co., Ltd. will strengthen the position of Kyrgyzstan in international markets and increase the competitiveness of domestic products as an organic country.
In turn, representatives of Pherobio Technology Co., Ltd. expressed readiness for long-term cooperation and emphasized that they see great potential for joint work in the field of sustainable agricultural development in Kyrgyzstan.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to develop a further plan of cooperation, establish a Working Group between the two countries and implement pilot projects in the territory of the republic.
