Bishkek, May 7, 2019. /Kabar/. A bilateral working meeting of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Kursan Asanov and Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen took place in the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, in Bishkek. The official representative of the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China in the Kyrgyz Republic Cai Zhixiong also attended the meeting, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
During the meeting the sides discussed a number of issues of further strengthening cooperation and interaction in the field of law enforcement, in the fight against crime and ensuring public safety.
The deputy minister of internal affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic noted that over the period of cooperation, the Ministry of Public Security of China made a significant contribution to enhancing the capacity of internal affairs agencies in ensuring public safety and fighting crime.
“The development of cooperation between law enforcement agencies of our countries will have a positive impact on the expansion of existing multilateral relations," Asanov said.
At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed confidence that the friendly relations that had existed for many years would serve to strengthen and develop bilateral cooperation.
The meeting was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere, and in the spirit of mutual understanding.
