Bishkek, June 30 / Kabar /. Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Guangzhou Maksat Tentimishov met on Thursday in Haikou city with Vice Mayor of Haikou Mr. Sun Shiven, the prress service of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Guangzhou reported.
During the meeting, Tentimishov and Sun Shiven discussed issues of bilateral cooperation. "The key topics of the talks were issues of trade and economic cooperation, development of tourism and agriculture," the press service said.
Following the meeting, the sides reaffirmed their readiness for further strengthening of friendly relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and Haikou City in all areas of mutual interest.
In order to develop inter-regional relations, the sides agreed to establish sister-city relations between the city of Haikou and one of the cities of the Kyrgyz Republic.
