Bishkek, Jan. 18, 2021. /Kabar/. Using digital solutions, specialists of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic are mapping regions according to the rate of COVID-19 spread, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said.
"According to the latest data, all regions of Kyrgyzstan except for Chui Oblast have moved from the "yellow zone" to the "green zone" in terms of coronavirus infection spread rate, there is not a single region in the "red zone", the report says.
Thus 43,456 patients with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 and 39,722 cases of clinically- epidemiological diagnosed coronavirus have been registered in Kyrgyzstan so far. The percentage of cured patients has increased and makes 95.1%.
The "green zone" refers to the following indicators:
1) weekly morbidity up to 40 per 100,000 with a reproductive count of less than 1;
2) weekly morbidity up to 20 per 100,000 with a reproductive rate of more than 1.
"Yellow zone":
1) weekly morbidity of 40 to 80, reproductive number less than 1;
2) weekly incidence from 20 to 50 per 100,000, reproductive number greater than 1.
“Red zone”:
1) weekly morbidity above 80 per 100,000 with a reproductive number less than 1;
2) weekly morbidity above 50 per 100,000 with a reproductive number greater than 1.
