Kyrgyzstan completes withdrawal of additional forces from border line, situation is stable

Bishkek, Jan. 29, 2022. / Kabar /. As of 10:30 on Jan. 29, 2022, the situation at the Kyrgyz-Tajik section of the state border is characterized as stable, the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Following the meeting of the delegations of the parties, held yesterday, Jan. 28, the work of the joint commissions of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan is scheduled today.

The Kyrgyz side has already completed the withdrawal of additional forces and assets from the border line to their permanent deployment points. The border units are serving in the regular mode, the report said.

The Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic monitors the situation at the Kyrgyz-Tajik section of the state border.
