Kyrgyzstan conducts large-scale study on situation of children and women in country

Bishkek, Oct. 31, 2023. / Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan is conducting a large-scale study on the situation of children and women in the country, UNICEF Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to the organization, the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey covers 185 indicators related to the status of women and children, of which 30 are Sustainable Development Goal indicators.

The survey will cover 7.2 thousand households across the country. Survey results will be available in May 2024.

This study is being conducted by the National Statistics Committee with technical and financial support from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Swiss government.
