Kyrgyzstan confirms 1,401 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, July 4, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan confirmed on Sunday 1,401 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections in the country to 130,633.

The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that the new cases included 907 in the capital city Bishkek, 175 cases in Chui Oblast, 105 in Jalal-Abad, while the other cases were detected in other regions.

The total number of people having recovered from the virus reached 112,644 after 710 new recoveries were recorded over the past day.

Meanwhile, 10 new virus related deaths were reported, taking the nationwide count to 2,037.

According to the headquarters, 4,001 people are currently hospitalized across the country and 10,855 patients are receiving treatment at home.

The headquarters said that the country conducted 7,224 coronavirus tests over the past day.
