Kyrgyzstan confirms 10 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, May 1, 2020. /Kabar/. As of 10:00 a.m. on May 1, 10 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Kyrgyzstan, Head of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry's Public Health Department Ainura Akmatova said Friday.

3 of the cases registered have been revealed in Osh Oblast, five in the capital city of Bishkek, one in Naryn Oblast and one in Batken Oblast.

Thus, as of May 1, a total of 756 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Kyrgyzstan.

Number of patients recovered has reached 504, including 144 medical workers.

Currently, 244 COVID-19 patients are in hospitals, 11 of them are in serious condition and 5 are in ICU.

8 people have died.
