Kyrgyzstan confirms 115 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, March 24, 2021 / Kabar / Kyrgyzstan confirmed 115 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the total number of positive cases in the country to 87,652.

The new cases were discovered out of 5,325 COVID-19 medical tests that were conducted in the country during the last 24 hours, according to data of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19.

The headquarters also said that the total number of recoveries from COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan increased to 84,339 after 65 new ones were added.

The death toll rose to 1,492 with two new fatalities during the last 24 hours.

Currently, 474 patients with COVID-19 are being treated in hospitals, including 18 in intensive care units, while another 402 patients are receiving treatment at home.
