Bishkek, April 7, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan confirmed on Wednesday 161 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total tally of infections to 89,438, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said.
Meanwhile, 108 recoveries were reported over the past day, taking the national count to 85,496.
The virus-related death toll reached 1,512 with 3 new victims.
Currently, 690 patients with COVID-19 are being treated in hospitals, including 23 in intensive care units, while another 623 patients are receiving treatment at home.
A total of 4,967 lab tests were conducted in the country over the past day.
