Bishkek, May 6, 2021 . / Kabar /. Employees of territorial subdivisions of the State Registration Service (SRS) under the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic in Batken and Leilek regions and Suluktu town continue to document citizens who suffered during the border conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.
The SRS press service reported that the specialists are working in the villages of Kok-Tash, Maksat and Batken. Mobile processing centres have also been deployed on the ground to ensure efficiency.
According to the State Registration Service, applications for issuance ID-card passports of Kyrgyzstan, applications for restoration of death certificate, birth certificates and marriage certificates have already been accepted.
Three ethnic Kyrgyz living in Maksat village of Leilek region of Batken Oblast applied for Kyrgyz citizenship.
In addition, the local departments of the Unaa State Administration in Maksat village are working on restoring the documents of drivers who were destroyed or lost during the unrest. Twelve driver's licenses and technical passports for cars are being restored.
The Kyrgyz Justice Ministry is holding free legal consultations for victims who are in temporary accommodation centers.
