Bishkek, Feb. 3, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz Tourism state-owned enterprise will be created under the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan. The corresponding decision was signed by Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev, the Government’s press service reported.
The Kyrgyz Tourism state-owned enterprise will be created with the purpose of effective implementation of the state policy in the field of tourism and rational use of sanatorium-resort organizations that are state-owned.
The objectives of the state enterprise "Kyrgyz Tourism" are:
- creation of a mechanism to ensure the implementation of tourism policy at the state and regional levels;
- development of the tourist, excursion, hotel and related tourism services market, attraction of investments in the development of the tourist business;
- modernization of the infrastructure of tourist facilities, state-owned service centers.
The state enterprise "Kyrgyz Tourism" will carry out its activities in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and approved by the Charter.
Director of the State Enterprise is appointed and dismissed by the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic for a period of two years.
