Bishkek, May 13 / Kabar /. A delegation from Kyrgyzstan shows a mini-game of nomads at an ethnofestival in Istanbul, secretary general of the World Confederation of Ethnosport, Sergey Danilenko told Kabar Agency.
The festival, which is held under the auspices of the World Confederation of Ethnosport, started in Enikapı district in Istanbul on May 11.
"Delegates from Kyrgyzstan show mini-games of nomads. The audience meets us very well. Ethnic Kyrgyz in Turkey and the Kyrgyz diaspora help us greatly," Danilenko said.
Within the framework of the festival, the culture and way of life of the peoples of Anatolia and the Turkic-speaking countries of Central Asia are demonstrated.
About 850 sportsmen from different countries took part in 11 kinds of competitions within the framework of the festival.
The festival will last till May 14.
