Bishkek, Oct. 27, 2021 . / Kabar / . Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Kingdom of Denmark with residence in Berlin Erlan Abdyldaev held meetings with Member of Parliament Peter Juel-Jensen, Secretary of State for Development Policy Lotte Macon and Director of the Department of the Eurasian Neighborhood of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Lars Bo Møller.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that during the above meetings, issues of strengthening and development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Kingdom of Denmark, including inter-parliamentary cooperation, increasing mutual trade between the countries and attracting investment in various sectors of the Kyrgyz economy, as well as cooperation in the fight against the further spread of coronavirus infection were discussed in detail.
There was also an exchange of views on the resumption of cooperation with the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA), cooperation in the field of digitalization, combating climate change and environmental protection.
In addition, the sides discussed the upcoming First European Union - Central Asia Economic Forum, which will be held in Bishkek on Nov.5. Ambassador Abdyldaev noted the Kyrgyz side is expecting a delegation from Denmark to participate in the above-mentioned forum.
The sides were unanimous in the opinion of the need to fully intensify contacts for the benefit of the development of Kyrgyz-Danish relations.
