Bishkek, April 5, 2021 . / Kabar/ . An additional beds will be deployed in Bishkek city and Chui Oblast for patients with coronavirus infection, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Health and Social Development said Monday.
In accordance with the order of the Health Ministry, in order to provide timely medical care to patients with coronavirus infection, starting from Apr. 6, 2021, additional 110 beds in the National Hospital, of which 10 beds are intensive care wards, and 55 beds in Chui Oblast Joint Hospital, of which 5 are intensive care wards, will be deployed to receive patients with COVID-19.
In recent days, a growth in number of cases of coronavirus infection is observed in Kyrgyzstan.
Thus, out of 139 new COVID-19 cases registered across the republic, 123 cases were detected in the capital city of Bishkek, which is 71.5% of all cases in the republic.
