Bishkek, May 11, 2021. / Kabar / . Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov held on Tuesday a meeting on digitalization, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
"Digitalization is a global process, a new era. Today, digitalization is one of the world trends, and the practice of introducing new digital technologies is gaining momentum. We all understand that the use of modern information technology is becoming more and more important and relevant. In particular, entering new foreign markets in order to take a worthy place in the global competitive space in the future," Maripov said.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted the main goal of the state is to serve the people, to create favorable conditions for citizens, making their lives easier.
"As practice shows, today the process of digitalization in the country is experiencing great difficulties. This is evidenced by complaints and dissatisfaction on the part of citizens because of bureaucracy in obtaining public services. It is precisely to improve the situation that work has begun on the new concept "Digital Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2021-2023," aimed at creating a client-oriented environment," Maripov emphasized.
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers emphasized the document under consideration should clearly indicate the main priorities on which it is necessary to intensify the efforts of the state.
During the presentation of the Concept on the Digital Economy, it was noted that the document includes the main areas such as digital education and development of human capital in the field of ICT, creation of sustainable digital infrastructure, construction of "e-Gov", creation of conditions for the development of digital economy.
