Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2020 / Kabar/. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of Kyrgyzstan, together with the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF), discussed credit programs for cluster development.
During the meeting with the participation of Chairman of the Board of the Fund Nurlan Mamytov and Minister of Agriculture Tilek Toktogaziev, credit programs for cluster development of the RKDF were presented in such areas as dairy, meat, trout growing and fruit and vegetable production.
“The development of clusters in the Kyrgyz Republic can give a powerful impetus to regional development and the creation of “growth points” that provide local communities with permanent employment and income,” Mamytov said.
In turn, Tilek Toktogaziev positively assessed the cluster initiatives of the RKDF, and also outlined new priority areas of agriculture, in which there are broad prospects for cooperation with the Fund. “Supporting farmers is a priority for us, together with the Fund, significant projects are planned for the development and support of breeding farms, the launch of a cluster for the production of vegetable seeds,” the minister said.
The sides agreed to exchange the available databases and analytical information on the issues discussed, as well as to organize continuous further interaction at the level of experts and specialists.
