Bishkek, Sept. 28, 2021. / Kabar /. The State Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Transport of Kyrgyzstan with the assistance of the European Aviation Security Agency of the Eurasian Union, has developed a State Program for Flight Safety, Aibek Bayishbaev, deputy director of the Civil Aviation Agency said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He said that the main focus of this project is to maintain sustainable development of civil aviation in accordance with international and EU standards.
“The theoretical and practical training of specialists of the state agency participating in its development will play an important role in the State program for ensuring flight safety. However, the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions associated with it significantly leave a certain imprint and create difficulties in operations,” he said.
The deputy director also pointed out that with the introduction of new standards, the State Agency is conducting:
- analysis of the air legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic (the so-called gap analysis);
- study of the applicability of the results of the final technical assistance report on the development of the State flight safety program;
- Seeking resources and funds to conduct training for inspection personnel.
