Bishkek, March 10 / Kabar /. Cemeteries in Kyrgyzstan will be divided into sectors according to religious affiliation, Gulnaz Isayeva, head of the department of analytics of the State Commission for Religious Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic told during a round table in Bishkek.

She said that such a decision was made so that citizens of another religion were not infringed.

"According to research, 90% of the population professes Islam. Accordingly, the most of the cemetery will be allotted to Muslims. The cemeteries will be divided into the Islamic and other confessions. If it is necessary the second part will be divided at the request of the local community," she said.

Also, Isayeva added that this issue was agreed with the Spiritual Board of Muslims of the Kyrgyz Republic.
