Bishkek, June 22, 2021 . / Kabar / . Members of Kyrgyzstan's national track and field team won six medals - three gold, one silver and two bronze at the traditional Gusman Kosanov Memorial Track and Field Tournament.
The press service of Kyrgyzstan's State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports reported that the competition was held on June 19-20 in the city of Almaty (Kazakhstan).
More than 200 athletes from 13 countries took part in the tournament.
Kyrgyzstan was represented by 12 athletes under the leadership of head coach Aibek Syrgakbekov.
In addition, Kyrgyzstani Gulshanai Satarova participated in another Almaty half marathon.
The athlete overcame the distance of 21.1 km in 1 hour 20 minutes and 35 seconds and became the winner of the race.
