Bishkek, June 17, 2020. /Kabar/. The Coordinating Council for the development of tourism in Kyrgyzstan with participation of tourism business associations has been established, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism said Wednesday.
"The Council was established in order to strengthen cooperation with representatives of the tourism business and identify further short- and medium-term development steps in all sectors of tourism industry," the report says.
The Coordinating Council is a public, expert, consultative and advisory body formed to ensure coordinated actions and effective solution of tasks on development of tourism sphere in Kyrgyzstan, carrying out coordinated activities aimed at improvement of business environment and investment climate in tourism sphere in the republic.
The first meeting of the Council will take place on June 23 this year.
Further, in order to quickly determine the next steps, it is expected to organize weekly meetings of the body with the development and approval of the Action Plan until the end of 2020.
