Bishkek, June 30 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan established diplomatic relations with the Lebanese Republic. The joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations was signed in New York on Thursday by the Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the UN, Mirgul Moldoisayeva and Permanent Representative of the Lebanese Republic to the UN, Navaf Salam, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
The sides established diplomatic relations, guided by the principles and objectives of the UN Charter and international law, in particular, respect and strengthening of international peace and security, equality between states, due respect for national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state, independence, observing international treaties and non-interference in the internal affairs of the countries.
After the signing ceremony of the Joint Communiqué, a bilateral meeting was held, during which the sides expressed their mutual intention to develop friendly and cooperative relations between states within the UN and other international organizations, as well as supporting each other's candidatures to international bodies through the UN.
