Kyrgyzstan evacuates its nationals from India amid COVID-19 pandemic

Bishkek, Aug. 31, 2020. /Kabar/. A charter flight of the Avia Traffic Company on the Delhi – Bishkek route carrying 64 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic arrived Sunday in Kyrgyzstan.

"This flight was carried out within the framework of implementation of the tasks, set by President and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on the return of Kyrgyz citizens from foreign countries in conditions of closed borders and suspension of international passenger air traffic in connection with the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection pandemic in the world," the press service of the country’s Foreign Ministry reported.

The work on the return to the homeland of Kyrgyzstanis who are in foreign countries is continuing.
