Bishkek, June 19, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz citizens have returned from India to their homeland, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported Friday.
"Today, June 19, within the framework of implementation of the tasks set by President and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on the return of Kyrgyz citizens, located in foreign countries because of temporary closure of borders and the suspension of international passenger air traffic due to the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the world, Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Indian Foreign Ministry worked out the return of 10 citizens of Kyrgyzstan from India," the report says.
All those who arrived are placed under surveillance (observation) to undergo appropriate medical procedures in accordance with the established procedure.
In accordance with the request of the Indian side, under the Vande Bharat Mission program for the return of Indian nationals from abroad on June 16-28, 2020, India is planning to operate a number of charter flights for the return its nationals to their homeland.
