Kyrgyzstan executes budget with surplus of almost KGS 580M for first time in 3 years

Bishkek, July 14, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan’s republican budget for the first half of 2021 was executed with a surplus of KGS 575 million 300 thousand, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Aidin Sharsheyev said on air of the Birinchi Radio.

According to him, this is an interim figure.

"If we look at the execution of budgets for the last three years, we can say that in the first half of 2018, the budget was executed with a deficit of minus KGS 1 billion 840 million, in 2019 the deficit was minus KGS 1 billion 100 million, and in 2020 the budget was executed with minus KGS 17 billion 614 million. This shows that now the execution of the budget is carried out with discipline and our decisions have begun to bear fruit," Sharsheyev said.
