Bishkek, Jan. 15, 2021. /Kabar/. 2-3 tons of mutton and goat meat are exported from Kyrgyzstan to Dubai per week, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry of the republic Tilek Toktogaziyev said at a briefing on Friday.
He added the export is done by plane.
"USD 1.5 paid for per kilogram, and the purchase price is USD 7 there. Now there are two meat processing plants in the country that meet the ISO international standard. Two more combines of this standard are now under construction and are nearing completion. In addition, there are 5 more meat processing plants that comply with HACCP standards. If a company has an ISO standard, then the meat can be exported," Toktogaziyev said.
