Bishkek, June 24, 2021. / Kabar /. The deadline for registration of foreign citizens has been extended in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the country’s Ministry of Digital Development reported.
For the period of the state of emergency situation and / or state of emergency, the period of validity of registration of foreign citizens or stateless persons is temporarily extended.
Foreign citizens and stateless persons who have expressed a desire to extend their stay in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic are obliged to renew their registration within 10 (ten) working days from the date of the cancellation of the regime of emergency situation and / or the state of emergency in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic or in some of its localities, the report said.
These norms are spelled out in the decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the issues of registration of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic" dated December 19, 2016.
