Bishkek, June 3, 2024. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan was the first in Central Asia to launch an online service for enrolling applicants to universities, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Lira Samykbaeva told today at the IT forum “Digital tools for effective cooperation”.

She said that at the moment, the Ministry of Education is implementing three main stages as part of digitalization: educational content, a platform for helping teachers, and the biggest part – digitalization of administrative procedures.

“The goal of digitalization is to make the lives of citizens easier, more convenient and comfortable,” she said.

The deputy minister noted that Kyrgyzstan was the first in Central Asia to launch a service for enrolling students in universities. “We are now actively engaged in the digitization of grade books and other documents. A plan for transforming the Altyn Kazyk education system was adopted and there are 4 important tasks that are a priority. And one of them is digitalization. We hope that all these steps will improve not only the service delivery system, but also the quality of education itself,” said the deputy head of the Ministry of Education.
