Kyrgyzstan: Four more candidates drop out of presidential race

Bishkek, Dec. 3, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, four more candidates dropped out of presidential race.

Thus, the Central Elections Commission (CEC) of the republic said on Thursday that four citizens applied to (CEC) with a request to withdraw documents submitted for participation in early presidential elections scheduled for Jan. 10, 2021.

Following candidates refused to run for the post of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic:

- Zhambylbek Kamchiyev;

- Adilet Mamatov;

- Azamat Esenbekov;

- Baktybek Zhumagulov.

Therefore, at the moment there are 37 candidates are left:

1. Adakhan Madumarov - leader of the Butun Kyrgyzstan party;

2. Arstanbek Abdyldaev (Arstan Alai) - director of Aurdin LLC;

3. Kuban Choroev - economist;

4. Nazarbek Nyshanov - activist;

5. Kanat Isaev - ex-speaker of Jogorku Kenesh;

6. Abdykaar Sydykov - pensioner;

7. Rashid Tagaev - ex-director of the Gazprom branch in Osh;

8. Zhenishbek Bayguttiev - Advisor to the Board of Directors of Tolubay Bank;

9. Klara Sooronkulova - public and political figure, ex-judge of the Constitutional Chamber;

10. Aimen Kasenov - former member of the Board of the RKDF;

11. Eleonora Turdubekova - head of the boarding school of the Bishkek Choreographic School named after Bazarbayev;

12. Urustam Kabylbekov - President of "Mongu" OEFSL named after Merzbacher;
