During the chairmanship of the CSTO, Kyrgyzstan fully fulfilled certain priorities for that period, acting Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Valery Semerikov told following a session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), which was held in Bishkek.
Semerikov spoke about the results of the CSTO meeting.
“First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the leadership of Kyrgyzstan and personally to President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov, as well as to the heads of all ministries and departments that were involved in this intersessional period in the implementation of all those decisions taken at the last year’s session of the CSTO in Astana," he said.
Valery Semerikov focused on the fact that all the priorities that were identified for the period of the chairmanship of the CSTO by Kyrgyzstan were fully implemented. He emphasized that this causes great respect from all the leaders of the CSTO member countries.
“I want to pay particular attention to this, because the priorities declared by the Kyrgyz Republic for the period of the chairmanship were really important, very necessary and timely for the advancement of our Organization. Today you saw that all these priorities were fully implemented,” said the acting Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
