Bishkek, Jan. 8, 2021 / Kabar /. According to our observations, Kyrgyzstan is fully ready to hold early presidential elections in the republic, Vasily Volkov, the head of the CIS observer mission told at a briefing.
“Currently, having traveled to many organizations involved in the election process, as well as getting to know the leaders of local authorities and some of the candidates, we can assure you that the country is fully prepared for the elections. We have no comments on the progress of the organization, everything is prepared at a sufficient level, all actions are carried out according to the law and do not contradict international norms,” he said.
In addition, the observer also noted that Kyrgyzstan is a home place for many members of the mission.
“Many members have repeatedly visited Kyrgyzstan and worked as observers, all of them are respected people, and some even learned the intricacies of the selection process and its organization,” he said.
In addition, Volkov stressed that for the first time among the members of the mission there are representatives of independent and non-profit organizations that are involved in the control and monitoring of the sampling process.
Kyrgyzstan will hold an early presidential elections and a referendum on the form of government on Jan. 10.
