Bishkek, Nov. 10, 2021 / Kabar /. An employee of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Germany met with head of the representative office of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Berlin, Kai Franke.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that during the meeting, the issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany within the framework of DAAD were discussed. The sides noted the importance of expanding further cooperation within the DAAD and outlined plans for the future in order to enhance the participation of representatives from Kyrgyzstan in the scholarship programs of the German Academic Exchange Service.
There is the Information Center of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Bishkek, which was established in 1992. DAAD annually provides scholarships to citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic for undergraduate, graduate, doctoral studies in Germany, summer courses in Kyrgyzstan, as well as through partnerships between schools in Kyrgyzstan and Germany.
