On April 12, at the office of the Federal Employment Agency of Germany in Nuremberg, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany Omurbek Tekebaev discussed the employment of citizens of Kyrgyzstan in Germany with head of the International Department of the Federal Employment Agency of Germany Markus Bircher.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said that Tekebaev informed in detail about the system of higher and vocational education, the labor market in Kyrgyzstan and the interest of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in employment in Germany, and proposed the conclusion of a bilateral agreement on organized employment of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in Germany.
Bircher said that Germany is interested in attracting motivated and qualified specialists from abroad, including from the Kyrgyz Republic. He also added that the most demanded in the labor market of Germany are such areas as tourism, hotel, logistics, crafts, construction, and more, the Foreign Ministry said.
Further, he stressed that the main conditions for employment in Germany are knowledge of the German language at the appropriate level and a diploma of professional qualification.
As a result of the meeting, the sides agreed to conclude in the near future a memorandum of intent between the Kyrgyz and German sides, which will reflect specific steps to prepare and organize the employment of Kyrgyz specialists in Germany.
