Kyrgyzstan has all competitive advantages in order to attract Chinese businessmen, deputy economy minister

Bishkek, April 25 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan has all the competitive advantages to attract Chinese businessmen here and localize production in the country, Deputy Minister of Economy Almaz Sazbakov said today during the international economic forum "Development of the Silk Road Economic Belt - Intensification of Cooperation" in Bishkek.

He said that such a large-scale forum in Bishkek will definitely bring its results. "For our country, such forums are interesting primarily in the exchange of views. The forum in Bishkek is a unique platform that allows business to exchange opinions," Sazbakov said.

The deputy minister added that it is very important that the forum is attended by business associations of China. "Participation of the Chinese business in this forum will give an introduction to the businessmen about countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, where to invest, how to invest. The answers to all these questions can be obtained at today's forum," he said.

Also, the deputy head of the Ministry of Economy stressed that Kyrgyzstan is becoming interesting, because the market is already large - 180 million people, as well as liberal legislation of Kyrgyzstan in the sphere of business and taxation. He said that Kyrgyzstan has all the competitive advantages in order to attract them here, to localize production.

"Now Kyrgyzstan and China have a big imbalance. Kyrgyzstan imports from China more, than it exports. And at the moment, the task is to localize this production here in Kyrgyzstan, and then deliver it to the markets of the EEU. This is a mutually beneficial interest of Kyrgyzstan and China," he concluded.
